Philip

When is a computer not a computer?  When is a man not a man?  When do the two coalesce and form an alternative entity?

I hear that Philip K. Dick wrote over a thousand pages in his exegesis.  He wrote them longhand, although he was an adept typist.  When does a man become a conduit for something else?

Is our intelligence a product of the body, or its inhabitant?  Is our intelligence reliant on the body, or does it have an independent existence?  How far is far?

Is Writing a true thing?  Do we exist in another world when we write, do we cross over into an existence that is somehow shared with another world?

Israel said that Hawaiians live in both worlds – so he was not afraid of death because it is a mere crossing over.  He said not to cry for him when he died, but in truth the day he passed away, the wailing could be heard at every part of the Big Island echoing in the valleys and among the hills and forests.

His producer said that Israel would have laughed about that.

In a perfect world.
